Hi. I must tell you of a magical experience I had yesterday afternoon. I was reading "Flight Behaviour" on the train on my way home and begrudgingly had to stop when I came to my station. One side of the story is about these beautiful orange butterflies that mistakenly migrate to a part of America they normally would not, as climate change has ruined their normal habitat. As I put the iPad in my bag I noticed there was an orange butterfly in it!! I had to tell someone so told a lady next to me and we both ooh-ed and aah-ed. I let it out when I got out of the train but thought about it for ages afterwards. How's that?

I should. Everyone I tell is amazed. It is a beautiful book. The imagery is superb. And her writing is great. So many funny lines and others that you want to re read and remember forever. I'm going to re read The Secret River while on holidays. Carm
